Why I Started TrueMed: A Note from the Founder
If you’ve landed on this page, you’re probably looking for something different.
Not a miracle fix. Not a product pitch.
Just something... clearer. Kinder. More grounded.
That’s exactly why I started TrueMed.
The System Wasn't Built for the Whole Story
In my years working across frontline care, scientific research, and medical affairs leadership, I kept hearing the same thing from patients:
“I don’t feel heard.”
“I don’t know who to trust.”
“I’m stuck between my GP, Google, and guesswork.”
These were smart, thoughtful people doing their best to manage complex symptoms and navigate uncertain terrain often after years of trial, error, and medical fatigue.
And when it came to emerging or plant-based therapies? The confusion only multiplied.
Between misinformation, media noise, and regulatory grey zones, patients were left to piece it all together themselves usually without support, structure, or safety.
I knew we could do better.
TrueMed Isn’t a Clinic. It’s a Compass.
I didn’t want to build another clinic or another platform selling solutions. I wanted to build a place where:
Patients could start with clarity, not commitment
Prescribers could access tools and training that built confidence
Sponsors could run ethical research that translated into meaningful policy
TrueMed was born as a three-pillar platform:
Wellness. Research. Education.
Together, they form a new kind of ecosystem one that puts evidence and empathy on the same team.
Conversations That Lead Somewhere
The 20-minute consult is at the heart of what we do. Not because it solves everything but because it starts something.
A safe, structured space for patients to be heard.
A moment of clarity before prescription, pressure, or confusion cloud the path.
It’s small, yes. But it matters.
Because when you feel heard, you’re more likely to stay engaged, ask questions, and find care that fits.
Research That Reflects the Real World
I also wanted to fix the gap between what’s published and what’s experienced.
Too many studies exclude the very people who use these therapies. Too many sponsor-led projects miss the human nuance behind the data.
TrueMed supports feasibility studies, real-world evidence collection, and writing services that bring patients into the room not just as subjects, but as collaborators.
Education Without the Ego
Finally, I wanted to support prescribers, researchers, and MSLs with materials that were clear, compliant, and actually useful not buried in jargon or hidden behind sales tactics.
Whether it’s a symptom tracker, a journal club digest, or a prescriber protocol workshop our tools are designed to build confidence, not dependency.
Where We’re Going
My vision for TrueMed is simple:
To create a space where patients feel empowered, professionals feel supported, and sponsors feel ethically aligned all without the noise of hype, hard sells, or hidden agendas.
We’re still evolving. Still learning. Still listening.
But we’re here and we’re building something better.
Thank you for being part of this.
If you’re a patient, a partner, or simply curious welcome. You’re in the right place.
